Cancellation of settlement deed

Dear All, My father has settled a property aquired by his own to me on 16/9/2011 at chennai. No conditions were mentioned in that. But without my knowledge he cancelled the same stating that i tried to sell that and i didnt allow to live in that. This was done on 15/2/2012. Later he expired on 22/2/12. Now my sister is claiming that this property is cancelled and they are eligible for a share in that. Im a muslim. I have 2 elder sisters for whom father has already settled part of his properties earlier. Can anyone help.

Settlement Deed once executed cannot be revoked unilaterally, but only by taking the consent of the beneficiary i.e you in the present case. He could not have cancelled the same without your concurrence. You are entitled to the property. Are the properties settled on your sisters part of the same deed ? and was the same registered ?

Feel free to email !

Thanks sir,

Total property was divided into 3 parts and three seperate deeds were registered on his two daughters name and son's name ie me. Cancellation deed is also registered. My sisters are not allowing to enter into my piece of share and with the help of police they are throwing me out stating that property is cancelled and i should not come inside.

One more doubt. How did the Subregistrar accepted the cancellation?
