Cheated by company hr

Dear Board,

I Prashant Srivastava working as an executive in a company, I joined this company in April thats why i lost benefit of salary approval from previous company but my present HR assure me about this benefit that we will further increase your salary after 6 months after serving probation period.

But after complision of probation period HR retracted from their promises.

Please help haw can i solve this need your guidence.

You must understand that there might be some terms and conditions attached to this probation. This means that if or when you complete your probation period and provided that you make progress and we want to keep you on then we will increase your salary otherwise we will not. You must try to understand the small print that is if they have given you a contract in writing.

If it was implied and verbal assurance you may minute it to the concerned personnel in HR in writing under proper acknowledgment and if required escalate to the good offices of appointing authority,MD.

 

If the incremental increasearrears are not advanced learn your lesson to reduce everything in writing and be with another employer at better position and package.

My concern is that what are the legal action to be can take by me to revise my salary increments and according to which section i can handle this or can i take any legal action for this.

Until and unless you have a written document you may not be able to proceed legally & are you ready to go around the courts pursuing your increment part by loosing your time and money.  

As rightly mentioned by Mr.Kumar Doab you should have asked for a written document.  Most of the cases people comfortably signs every paper even not going through in a hurry to join the organization and all these queries will be once they thought to leave. 

In case you proceed legally it may be bit difficult for you to get an alternative as the other employers don't want to step in to the legal issues by employing you this is only the general trend I am putting forward.  If you are confident and able to better to challenge.
