Dear Sir,
I am providing security services to a company the contract of which expired on 31 Aug 2011. since we didn't hear from the company we wrote back and received a renewal of 2 months, which expired on 31 Oct 2011. We are still providing security cover to the company but without any extension etc. we have communicated to the company but have not wreceived any written acord. What options do we have?

you must get writtenable records only valid for legally.

Your business shall depend upon extension by company. You may obtain fresh extension letter w.e.f. 01st Nov to the date desired by company, covering at least the period to date you have rendered your services.
Is there any notice period for ending the contract by either side?
If yes company may include the notice period also if company wants to terminate the contract.
Thus both the parties shall have no heartburn.
