copyright and related rights in India

Intellectual Property is an emerging field in India.  Copyright plays an important role.  We come across various kinds of IP rights in our day-to-day life.  We go to movies.  It employs skilled personnel.  Then what is the position of the producer of a film  in Intellectual Property.  Does he entitle to ownership rights(as creator) or to related rights (as he hires skilled persons  i.e.authors and others). In case he gets copyright then what is the position of lyric writers, music composers, play writers.

The producer shall be the real owner of the copyright and all others get the consideration for their work done for the producer [If they are not working in individual capacity], so they do not enjoy those rights as the producer enjoys. Its like an individual scientist make a discovery in a research organisation, then the patent shall subsist in the organisation and not with that individual scientist.

however if the individual performer perform for himself and then assign limited rights to the producer then he may have the copyright in that performance. So when he is working for the producer in consideration of something and then he creates the producer shall have the copyright.
