DEAR SIR,

What is the difference between a writ petition and public interest litigation.

WRIT PETITION IS FOR THE 5 REMEDIES:

1.WRIT OF MANDAMUS

2. CERTIAORARI

3. WARRANTO

4.HABEASOUS CORPUS

5.PROHIBITION.

PIL: IS AN WRIT PETITION/ LETTER TO H.C OR SC FOR THE PUBLIC CAUSE ,PRAYING THE ABOVE FIVE REMEDIES.

BUT THE SCOPE AND MEANING OF WRIT AND PIL IS VERY WIDE IN LEGAL FIELD. EVERY ONE HAS THERE OWN INTERPRETATION AND APPLICATION IN THE COURT OF LAW.
