Daughter's right in property

Hi,

This is a question regarding the right of daughter in her father's property when her mother is divorced and custody and all other maintenance activities were cleared and handed over to her mother by court.

She never visited to her Father and asked any well being of him and is married also. Nnow after her Father's death can she claim her right to her father's property  from her step mother and brother.

Please suggest the legal way to it.

Thanks

dEAR Member,

Daughter will get the equal share in the share of the father's ancestral property.  During the life time of the father daughter wont get any share in his self earned property, after the death she is entittle for the equal share along with other members of the family.
