end of a suit

A case in which our club is involved, the Supreme court orderd that '" Still we feel that equities are required to be worked out between the parties , at least till the pendency of the suit" In this case where does the suit ends? Is an appeal an extension of the suit? Or does it end when theoriginal suit  is dismissed by the Sub court?

Yes appeal is the a continuation of suit.  So LIS PENDENS will operate

It is settled law that appeal is a continuation of the suit and is only a rehearing of it.
