FOR FRESH TRIAL COURT PRACTITIONERS

I have read the following  somewhere. I dont remember where.  May be helpful to fresh trial court lawyers:-

THERE IS NEVER A DEFENCELESS CASE

  • DEFEMCE CASE DOES NOT FLOAT IN THE AIR. IT LIES SOMEWHERE IN THE PAPERS.
  • KNOW WHAT TO THROW AWAY AND WHAT TO KEEP
  • IF YOU KNOW CASE LAWS DIRECT YOUR CROSS EXAMINATION TO BRING YOUR CASE WITHIN THE PRINCIPLES OF LAW ENUNCIATED
  • HAVE A FLEXIBLE DEFENSE THEORY. AVOID UNALTERABLY COMMITTED TO YOUR THEORY
  • BEGIN YOUR PREPARATION EARLY AND CONTINUE IT DILIGENTLY TILL THE END.
  • NEITHER YOUR INVESTIGATION OF LAW NOR YOUR INVESTIGATION OF FACTS SHOULD BE REGARDED AS FINAL AT ANY TIME BEFORE THE CONCLUSION OF TRIAL.
