Last page of original sale deed missing

The last page of my original sale deed is missing. In the xerox/photocopy, all pages are there. Will it be an issue while selling the property?

Hello,

You can get the certified copy of the sale deed from sub registrar office. This will suffice the purpose.

Only for last page missing do I have to apply for entire sale deed again? For selling the flat, sale deed is needed only for verification> As I have the scanned copy and xerox which has all the pages, should it still be an issue? Thanks again.

Will bank accept certified copy of the sale deed for loan legal verification for the buyer?

A certified copy issued by the Sub Registrar will be treated as original.

for safer side you can get public notice of LOST published in newspaper and save that with the property documents and also apply for certified copy from Sub Registrar office
