Mother deed original

Dear respected lawyers,

I am planning to sell my old flat in chennai. Currently there are 6 flats built in that piece of land which has the mother document registered in 1975, currently none of the flat owners have the original of the mother document and all have got the bank loan and i also have only the photo copy of the mother document. My buyer is asking for the original mother document and apparently no one has it, please advice what needs to be done.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks, Balakumar R

Take the document no. and the date of the document to the subregistrar office apply for certified copy of the saledeed you will get after paying prescribed fees.

Give a application for certify copy of the said document at Sub-registrar Office and u make a one declaration for that this property is clear and marketable and take a title certificate for that.
