Dear Rupendra,

It can be done in following :

1. Execute POA favouring ur wife to buy or purchase property in your name This POA can be executed in londons indian embassy authorised by consulate .

2.Once POA executed and authorise get it registered in india on d basis of authorisation given by an indian consulate officer

3.open a nri account in joint name with ur wife trf d money

4. let ur wife execute property docs here in india on basis of poa

thanks for reply..

1. Can you please provide the Format of POA.?

2. We need POA on stamp paper?

U can get it easily in "FILES" section of this site

or vakilno1.com

ideally get it prepared by a good lawyer or solicitor and insert d relevant clause

A poa can be on stamp paper or franking document

1. Can i ask from Indian lawyer from india to prepare for me and send across to me for stamping.

2. NRI account is compulsory..?

ABHIJEET PARIKH (Bcom LLB MBA)     26 December 2011

1. Yeah u can do that.... and it is not stamping what embassy people will do is attesting

2. NRI account will be preferred bcoz entire transaction will be chained (connected) ie POA (attested in UK), money comin from UK. IT will look chained

3. If u hav money in India then also it can be done.... provide the bank account from where d money is paid is in d joint name wid ur wife

Regards

Abhijeet
