Relatives right on property if they stay for long

Dear All,

My grand father sold a residnetial plot in Ghaziabad to my father in 1979 for agreed amount and got registered in his name. Later plot's freehold deed was also done in my father's name. We have all registry papers in original. My uncle with his family was also living with us due to grand father wishes since then till now. Now father has done a registered gift deed in my name.

Uncle has filed a false civil case on me and my father that he also paid the half of amount when my grand father sold this land to my father but my father got it registered in his sole name. he has no proof for it. All the documents e.g. electricity bills, house tax bills are in my father's name.

Does his case hold any base? What can we do best to resolve it.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Regards,

Learning
