Revision or appeal after time bar

an interim order in divorce O.P was passed against us in 2004, we were not properly advised at that time regarding appeal or revision of the order.  We have a good case to for appeal , is there any provision in C.P.C that we can appeal after lapse of such a long time?

Dear Durgal,

No such provision is available in C.P.C.  It is provided under Section 5 of Limitation Act

You can challenge that order in the high court. But you will have to file an application u/s 5 of the limitation act to condone the delay. Delay should be reasonable.
