ADGP crime came to a determination on a case which didn't have the outcome they informed us it would have. Spoke to head of the ADGP office who said he didn't have knowledge of this case and what district it is from. Told him the district and he got in touch with the SSP. Also, ADGP head said he would have his seniour officer look over the files. Spoke to that officer who said she gave it to the SSP (who was going to cancel the case) and asked him to look at it again. Now we have spoken to the SSP who has asked for sometime to review how adgp came with their determination.
This was questioned due in part to other victims not interviewed or evidence taken. Also an admission from the culprit but the outcome was suggested to be cancelled. How can they do this? It was informed many times this was going to the lower court and the culprit had enough evidence against him.
Query is can or will the SSP over-ride the ADGP office decision? DSP's from that office were investigating it. Or is it the matter the court date would need to be given so the victims can give their statements and ask to re-open this case?
Cheers
