Almost all one year back I had raised the issue regaring applicability cluase of Gratuity limit of Rs.10lacs to the employees who retired prior to the effective date of the revised limit ie.25th May 2010 and afater year 2006. Although the Central & state Govt. employees including the beurocrates who were retired in between June 2006 to May 2010, have drawn the amount of Gratuity as per the revised limit although it was passed on a later date i.e. May2010. But the other psu including Bank, LIC & other sector employees were not paid with the enhanced limit who retired during the period in question.
One Sri Priyabrata Chakraborti, SBI persioners Assn., Bengal Circle has raised this matter in public forum like facebook, twitter etc. Now it appears that he has also not got much of suuport in this regard as i feel.
Did anybody highlighten this issue in a positive perspective?
