Dear Mr. Smith,

being an advocate we are alwyz accountable to the public. our profession is called a noble profession and it is to e used for the betterment for the society.

we are bound to follow certain professional ethics which are givn under the Advocate's Act and certain other rules framed by the BCI.

but you see its alwz upon an individual how he takes into consideration all these things.

An advocate should ensure that the interests of the client are not in any manner hurt by his acts or omissions. He must also defend a person accused of a crime, regardless of his personal opinion as to the guilt of the accused and must not abuse or take advantage of the confidence reposed in him by the client.

When counsel does not inform the client of the subsequent proceeding of the case, he commits a breach of this duty and is therefore liable for professional negligence.

public in general includes client also, it is not necessary to specifically say clients only.
