Dear learned members,
I have a query on contracts.
In case of any ambiguity between the terms of a contract and the law of land, the law of land will prevail.
There are two parties having agreed to contract at a specific price which is all inclusive of taxes and where no escalation will be the price quoted under any circumstances. My query is that, if in this case, if the tax rates increase, can the party alter the terms price, considering the change in the law of land or will the increase be a total loss to the service provider.?
Pl. advice!
