The BBMP (Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike) through its Building Bye Law No. 29 has made the usage of solar water heaters compulsory for the buildings that have 200 Sq.Mtrs. of floor area of 400 Sq.Mtrs. of site area and 500 Liters per day capacity solar water heaters for apartments having five or more units.
I am a tenant in a house and i stay in the second floor of the house.
Could you please let me know if the house owner has the legal right to charge me a monthly amount for the use of solar water heater.
