Can talathi has power to entre deth persosn name on mutation

I would like to know if Person is died & the same  died persns name was entre into 7/12 extract  wide mutation entry  than  will that  be  legal  , as  I feel  that  non of  deth persosn  name  can be  entred  after  his  deth  to any  official  goverment  documentation , please  give  me  answer  in legal  format  &  rules  as  per  Indian  Law.
