Please may I know the list of documents to verify, before purchase of land in Maharastra:
1) To verify identity of the seller/owner
2) That the Seller owns the land ?
3) Link the Physical Land, with the details of the Land document.
4) There are no Court Case pending against the seller and/or the land ?
5) How to make sure that the Seller has not sold the same piece of land, few days/weeks ago.
6) How can we prevent the Seller from selling the property to someone else, later ?
7) ## How can we be sure that the documents are NOT forged ? ##
