Hello. a friend of mine from Russia came to Delhi for working for a agency which makes arrangements for wedding and likewise. They told her to come on tourist visa and employed her. She worked for them for 3 months but they didnt pay her. When she asked for salary, they refused to give her. She has no money whatsoever and they threatened her that if she goes to police or embassy, no one will help her because they have connection with everyone. She feels helpless and scared.
What can she do in this situation? she is scared that since she is on tourist visa, she cant work here legally and cant ask for legal help. if she does, she will be arrested in violation of visa rules.
Can anyone please give some advice ?
