I am a joint owner of a flat with my wife. In the property docs, my name appears first.
I wish to make my wife as a 100% owner of the flat. Can you advice on the process, and relevant charges. I stay in Mumbai.

You can either gift the property or relinquish your rights to your wife. You need to either execute a gift deed or a relinquishment deed for that. Gift deed is cheaper compared to relinquishment. The duty applicable is as per the Bombay stamp Act.
