Gpa

Sir,

I have some ancestral property in Tamil Nadu. I am residing at NOIDA. I would like to give GPA to my brother to dispose off the property. Is it mandatory to register the GPA? What is the procedure of making GPA in NOIDA? What will be the cost ?

A GPA authorising your brother to sell the property on your behalf and get the sale deed executed and registered on your behalf is required to be registered with the Sub.Registrar of Place where property is located.

The Stamp duty would depend on rate applicable there.

Sir,

Thanks for your reponse.  I  just want to know whether  the GPA I make in NOIDA is required to be registered in NOIDA. If so what is the procedure to register the GPA ?
