Grounds on which bank guarantee can be cancelled

What were the terms pf appointment?

The terms in the bank letter issued by bank to the company says that the employee has to work for 2 years or the amount kept as deposit would be transferred to the account of the company if the employee leaves before completing the term. Now I have renogotiated with the employer to give back my bank guarantee, what is the procedure to be followed, is it sufficient if I get back the letter issued by the bank or should i get the bank guarantee cancelled from the bank? what is the procedure to be followed in this case?
