HOW TO CLAIN SECURITY FEES FROM EDUCATION INSTITUTE

HI,

I had joined an institute in the year 2005 but due to some unfavourable conditions i had left the college the very next year. I had paid all the fees (FOR FULL COURSE) in total in advance (including the SECURITY DEPOSIT).

Now when i approached the authorities for claiming back the said fees, they simoly denied saying that, it is not their policy.

Now the quesition here arises is can i legally claim the fees back on pro- rata basis and wether i can appraoch the consumer court for the same as a consumer?

If i can claim it what stands shall i take in my defence?

Seeking an early, conclusive and a positive reply.

THANKS TO ALL

Sir,

Thanks for the suggestion. But if you could kindly elaborate on the suggested way ( filing writ) and the position of law and under which law to claim it would be really helpful.

THANKING YOU
