Labour law and Software Companies

Do software companies under Labour Law, or Shops and Commercial Establishment Act. Can a employee working in a software company (company employing More thatn 100 people) approch a labour court with his problem.

What all Acts/Statute is applicable to Software company, to regulate its employment issues.

Sir,.

 

All labour laws except the Factories Act will apply yo IT Comapnies. In addition IT Act,2000 will apply. You can approach the machinery under Industrial Disputed Act.

yes all labour laws applicable to soft ware companies. But you have to proove that you are covered under the definition of the woker/employee under the provisions of the act under which you are planning to approach the labour department eg., Payment of Wages Act/Minimum Wages act/ID act etc.,
