Land in the name of govt servant

Ld Expert,

I had purchased two plots in my name but the money invested are by myself and my cousin. I am a govt employee and i had not shown this in office becoz its a complicted process to regularise it and these are not my 100% investment but share. Its all white money and the cost is 3-4lacs each.

I am suffering from false 498a case. These purchase of plots is in the knowledge of my wife.

A)How she can harm me on these- in maintanace case and in departmentally.

B)what preventive action can be taken.

You can inform the same and get it ratified by rendering proper accounts.You need to submit the Assets and liabilities,when the issue may crop up.

It is misconception amongst average Govt servant that procedure for intimation to department is not cumbersome. Curbersome is the procedure if a Govt servant at the fag end of service is caught with "asessts beyond known sources of income" which is even a non-ballable offence besides being a departmental misconduct. Please do not cultivate evidence against you for the offence which you have not committed.
