Maintance

Dear experts,

I married a girl   5 years back, in a simple way at a temple without any dowry etc.  my marriage is second .. All these because of her mother and sister, who were constantly washing her brain, in order to snatch all my earnings towards them. . I  live in delhi seprate in rented flat, for which she completely refused to stay/live with me anymore and only thing she need is money from me judge pass order 7 thousand per month he ask pay this month and balance payment pay min 20000 thousand per month . if i not pay he ask i arrest u . .

. Now, my question is, How much amount I may have to give her as maintenance cost?

3. If I wish to pay her a lumpsum amount, what could be the approximate amount (She is demanding 45 lacs. and I'm earning nearly 6 thousand month, net salary) My lawyer is also not co opeartive with me, i.e. he is not giving me any advice /suggestions in this regard., even though  . Kindly advice,

. Respectfully, d

order against you sounds weird how come husband earning 6,000 can pay maintainance of  7,000/- or minim. 20,000/-. Its not possible for a judge to pass suchorder .  what is your lawyer doing why dont he file appeal application in appellate court . File for appeal and try to set aside the impugned order pass by lower court .

My 2 Cents to your query before us since you claim to be from Delhi is to go every weekend to Save Indian Family weekly meetings which happens every Saturday at Patiala House Court, Gate No. 2 lawns. The meetings are for victims of gender biased laws where you meet other victims and are free interaction meetings to know more about strategies and command and control your own case learning from fellow victims present there.

Goggle Save Indian Family and you will stumble on their NGO website and review the pages and participate in their meetings.

I suggested above since it looks yours is a short circuit case and you are not able to explain properly your harassment before these legal terrorism before us. hence above para suggestion to make you more confident and know what exactly is happening in your case and then take charge yourself of your own case.

I agree to Tajobs and Nikhil's advice secondly it seems to me like a DV case is on you would have to put all the facts of the case on hand which you have not put forth .
