Maintenance - income details

When wife files a maintenance case and Judge asks for income details in a prescribed format - Is it possible to not send the income to the other party and only give it to the learned court in sealed envelope only for its own perusal?

Our concern is that wife can use the details to extort money from the husband.

If the purpose is for court to decide on the interim maintenance, then why would just sharing it with court in a sealed envelope not work? Has there been any precedence in such matter?

NO. You have to give the income details to the Opposite party also.  There are High Court orders/guidelines to this effect.

Can we not challenge this in High court that the other party may use this to extort more money out of us. If the goal is for Court to decide maintenance - can we not offer the details to the court in a sealed envelope.

Thanks

What is the order of the court to this effect!
