Poa

Dear Readers,

I am an NRI and have bought a small house in Mysore, Karanataka. For registration, I have asked my elder brother to do it for me. He has asked me to send a Power of Attorney so that he can do the registration of bought property in my name easily.

Kindly advise a format for the same and procedure if known to you, thanks for advise, help.

I think, I need to get the POA attested by Indian Embassy here in this country where I live. Am I right?

Best Regards

Ahmed

As well as you have to adjudicate it at your District JDR office.

Thanks Adv Taur,

It can be done by my brother and my presence is not required, as I understand, am I right?

Any format of POA available in this case, thanks

In my experience, the lawyers and registrars are not aware about this POA attestation by embassy formality.

Please sombody can provide the reference of this act in CPC or any document.
