Practice rights of advocates.

I am enrolled with Bar Council of Assam & others. If I want to appear in calcutta high court or even in supreme court of India can I do so? or I have to enrol myself with west bengal bar council? what is the position in case I wish to appear & argue in Supreme court ? Plz advise.

if u r going represent a case in highcourt or supreme court under appeal u can do so. nthing can barred u 2 do so

what if I want to file writ petitions in HC & SC? I mean if I want to move in the original jurisdictions of HC & SC then I need enrolment?

no u dnt need to enrol seprately. if u r a practising advocate  enrolled in district bar. u can file writ in HC&SC, u dnt need enrolled again. and 4 instance if u want setup ur practice  in HC or SC den u hav 2 get enrolled there. dnt wry go ahead, my wishes r wid u.
