I have shortlisted one property for purchase in Parsik Nagar - Kalwa under Thane Municipal Corp limit.
The owner has got the possession in 2012.
The property has got OC in Aug-2017.
The property tax receipt of March 2017 categorizes the property as illegal.
My lending bank HDFC has rejected m application saying property is illegal.
And asked me to get the stamp of TMC officials with updated status as legal on property tax receipt.
Would there be any reason that this property could be illegal, knowing that it has received OC.
What is the process to be followed to get the revised status of the property after the OC is provided.
