Property dispute

Hi,

There is an home and village in land. My father's brother has taken a consent letter(sampatti patra) with my father's signature on it. The letter states that my father name be reduced in the gram panchayat records and add uncle's name on it, and also states that my uncle will be acquiring the property. I as a son was of legal age and our signs are not taken. The said consent letter is on a 50rs e-stamp and not sub registred. The consent letter has no mentions of sale and it doesn't have any witnesses. Is there a possibility of taking a court action.

The transaction does not amount to conveyance. However, you are mere stranger to the issue during your father's lifetime. You have a stake in the issue only after your father's lifetime.

Thank you for the reply sir.

The consent letter was for changing the name, and giving possession to use the land and house. and it has no mention for sale.

Can my father make a claim back?

A mere change in the village/panchayat records do not amount to transfer of propety.
