Sir,
I bought land + house about 7 years back with complete set of documents at Tharamani, Chennai, India. We extended the house after getting plan approval.
The area mentioned in the document is missmatching with acutal land area.
Document says the land area is 2014 sqfeet, but the actual area is 2177 sqfeet. But the PLR (permanent land register) in thaluka office says 2218 sqfeet.
Due to the missmatch between PLR and document, when we applied for Name Transfer of Patta, the thasildar office insisted for subdivision.
But land was measured 4 years back and the record in PLR is with my name.
My queries are ..
1. If subdivision is done, patta will contain only 2014 sqfeet as per the document.
And for rest of the land, whether another patta land will be provided to me?
2. Since the PLR is also having wrong measurement how to correct it ?
Regards,
Nanda Kumar
