Registration of trust

Hi

we have registered a Trust by name "Mind Tree Youth Welfare Trust" in the Sub-Registrar Office at Chamrajpet, Bangalore 18. The Sub-Registrar has registered our "Deed of Trust" only. When tried to open a bank account. the Branch Manager said that the Trust has to get Cerficate of Registration from "Registrar of Trusts". Kindly guide us in this regard.

Thanking You,

Best Regards,

Amzad

any society named as "...............trust" which the byelaws framed under Society Registration Act, certificate will be issued.  But the trust created by some body with the trustees, it will be registered under Registration Act.  As your trust was registered under Registration Act, the copy of document is sufficient, if you mention in the document about the operation of account of the trust.  So convinice the BM of the bank.

Thanks for your precious reply. Is there any way to get our Trust registered under Societies Registration Act.
