Rti act, 2005

Hello Sir / Madam,

An applicant has preferred an appeal before the First Appellate Authority, as the information sought by him under RTI Act, 2005 was not provided by the Public Information Officer.  The appeal has been admitted by the First Appellate Authority and posted the hearing date. But the applicant is claiming travelling expenses to attend the hearing.  Is there any such provision under RTI Act, 2005 to provide the travelling expenses.

Please reply

Regards

Vikram

It is the established procedure in such cases to hear the appellant through vedio conferencing.
