Recently Dr Rakesh Kapur wrote an excellent, informative article regarding a widely prevalent but seldom acknowledged form of child abuse known as Parental Alienation.( https://www.newslaundry.com/2017/11/18/parental-alienation-a-silent-epidemic )
He warned about its catastrophic consequences. With the rise in divorce rates in India, our children seem to be condemned to a permanent life-long handicap due to no fault of theirs.
What is the solution and as a society what are we doing to address this silent epidemic? Do we keep ignoring it thinking 'its not my family getting affected, so why shall I bother?' or shall we contribute our bit to save the future generations from being affected? How can we help the children?
