I am 40 years old and married. person. My father get married three times in his life. His first wife died and left behind a girl. Then he married again and have a boy it's me. My mother left the home when i was two years old and having no idea where is she today. Again my father get married with a third woman, when i was 5 years old and having 4 childern from this marriage. Now the question is, my relations with my father were not good from the day one when my step mother step in our home. My father have a house property which is his self acquired but i have also helped him about 30%. Now I doubt that my father have write a will under the infulence of my step mother and i will not get single penny from it. But I do not want to ask my father regarding this by following my sanskar. Now i want to know, if such thing happens to me, is the law favours me that i will get a share in my father's property, in which i have also expensed  to 30%.. but i have not kept any proof. What is the solution.............waiting for any help from your side.........thanking you.....

If you have also contributed in the property it requires document, mere saying does not suffice.

It's known to me that i can take share in my  father's self acquired  property with his will only, that's why i put the question here. But i am the son of my father's previous wife. Perhaps it is different  situation from other cases, where the parents are real but their sons are not obedient. But i always gave respect to my father.

Can i take a share on behalf of my mother?

Is there any law who can provide the shelter to a mature child of  a person's previous wife. i have helped my father by thinking that he is my father and he will not make any foul play, hence i have not kept any documentary proof. yes, i have only some witnesses, but do'nt know they are sufficeint or not. I have maintained a good character in my residential area hence no one can deny the truth that i am a obedient son of my father. I want to ask one more question that; is step mother equal to real mother in the court of law. Can i challenge my father's will on account of all these different circumstances of my family/parents.

Without having any documentary proof, you have no claim at all.
