Question is regardsing the designnation changes implemented by the company only for selected business unit in the organization. Can a company do such selectvie designation change implementation is selected business units only? Because for few employees it has created a sudden disparitiy with their peers in the other business unit within the organization, which are part of same organization and closely related with each other. For few employees it has actually turned out to be demotional activity though organization says it is not a promotionnal or demotional activty. There are employees who were in say Sr. Analyst position who were 4 years back Sr. Engineers now with the new designnation change activity they have been marked as a Sr. Engineer as there is no such position called as Sr. Analyst in new designation implementation for the business unit.
Is there any way employee can take leagal action against the organization claiming that they are without any reason demoteted?
