Transformer construction - Electricity board

Hi,

The Electricity board at chengalpattu - south ( Shanthi nagar - Melaripakkam  ) is constructing / setting up a new transformer at shanthi nagar. The problem is that , this transformer is very close to my compount wall and main gate. The pillars of the transformer occupies for more than 5 feet  of my plot's frontage.

Today(14/12/2010), I met the JE at Chengalpet branch and requestd him to move the tranformer about 10 feel further , where there is vacant land . But the JE politely conveyed that it is not possible to do so as the pillars have already been constructed.

There are close to 100 + constructed plots at shanthi nagar and its depressing to note that EB department has decided to use the place in front of my constructed plot for the new transformer.

Can I get Legal help on this subject ?

You can give complaint  to Chief Engineer . if not take action you can file writ before High Court.
