on 11 march 2011 Indian Postal Department close the u.p.c. services!
upc services was for poor men,who just take receiving from postal department on three rupees stamp slip and confirm/confident from his post !
basically this service (u.p.c.)is a ragisterd post of a poor man! in 8/-rs only!
now the poor men pay 25/- rs. minimum for ragisterd post instad of 8/-rs.
reason losses!
in 2g spectrum goverment can take losses of rs........... 1,75,000,000000/-
but for poor persons govt.can't accept loss!
