Uniform company policy

Dear Sirs,

can any one clear the follwoing 

" Is it possible for any Corporate office to maintain 2 different policies for its differnt offices of same company on a single Subject "

for ex: Travelling policy in corporate officce is not applicable to its Branch Offices, is it require to maintain separate different policy for Branch Offices

Yes, a company can on it's self discretion create, change or impose the different rules for it's different offices.

Sir,

self discretion means authorised by Corporate Management or Board of Directors only

but not by any Individual being a Head of Department or Director of the Departemnt

please clarify

Usually the policies are passed by the Board and/or committee approved by the Board.

agreed.  Policy means by Corporate Board/ Management/ Directors/ any authorised representative duly authorised by the Board.  If the HOD is direct delegatee then he may else the delegatee cannot further delegate his authority unless such delegation specifically authorised to do so.
