Yes. It can be. But compromise can't be mentioned in the petition. The offence is not compoundable.
What's more important is: The Court must give consent.

In my previous Reply, I wrote: Court must give consent.
What I meant was: The consent of the Court is sine qua non. In other words, the consent of the Court is a must.
