Punishment due to cheque bounce in rtgs/ neft

I run a small business on potatoes, and I pay  money to farmers by RTGS/ NEFT , buying potatoes from them and also I sell to others. Now, my question is if a cheque with RTGS/ NEFT form is submitted  in the bank where cheque book was issued in favour of a farmer and no sufficient balance in my account then any police case may be taken by bank( If mistakenly/ wrongly done, not deliberately)??? And if taken then in future may I be ineligible from Government job in India??

Although it is a minor issue which can be resolved amicably yet it is a crime and complaint for cheating and fraud can be iniitiated against you.

You will receive a demand notice to pay the the cheque amount if the cheque issued was dishonored due to insufficient funds.

You can pay the cheque amount immediately and avoid being prosecuted in the cheque bounce case.

Pay the cheque amount within 15 days of receipt of notice, if any.
