Dear Jagpal Singh, Art 226 is writ jurisdiction and Art. 227 is supervisory control of High Court on subordinate courts. Read Basu / P M Bakshi Constitution of India. section 482 Cr.P.C is inherent powers provided to High Court under Cr.P.C. for quashing Art. 226 is better.
