498a_urgent help.

Hello

I wanted to know whether my wife can take back 498a and DV against me now that CS has already been filed. I don't want her back in my life though.

Any suggetions will be appreciated.

If your wife is ready and willing to do so, she can, but ofcourse the same should be as per settlement terms filing otherwise for filing false case she can be on suo moto basis charges for filing fase case which is a criminal offence.

She can take back DV case on her own but not 498a(unless its in AP) . For other states you both need to file a joint petition for cumpounding in HC under Crpc482 Regards ASHOK
