IF NOTICE UNDER 80 CPC IS NOT REPLIED ,CAN COURT PASS DECREE EX-PARTE?
N.K.Assumi (Advocate) 05 October 2014
Section 80 CPC is only a notice and not filling suit. As such if the notice is not repiied, time to go to the court. No court can pass ex parte order on the basis of Notice under section 80 CPC.

It is only a notice before proceeding against some govt institutions
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Advocate) 09 October 2014
How will notice become a case without filing one?, exparte decree is the one which is for the case not represented by the defendant/respondent when called for after having served with summons properly.
