About ex parte divorce

sir, i am a resident of delhi but now living in ghaziabad for the last two months. can i file divorce petition from ghaziabad as i left delhi and currently residing in ghaziabad on rent with proper rent agreement. is it possible that i can file divorce from ghaziabad instead of delhi on rent agrrement.

Why don't you file from Delhi where you both last resided together? If you have proof of stay in Delhi or got married in Delhi or your spouse is living in Delhi, the family court in Delhi of the particular district will have jurisdiction for court here. Ghaziabad in UP will be more troublesome for you, that you will realize later.

Your present residence is not the station of your last resided togather, hence Gaziabad Court cannot assume jurisdiction (for husband).
