about housing loan & purchase of house

I HAVE TAKEN HOME LOAN OF RS 18 LACS. MY CO-APPLICANT IS MY MOTHER, SHE IS ALSO SALARIED. I WANT TO KNOW, CAN I TAKE HOME ON JOINT NAME OF ME & MY MOTHER? OR I HAVE TO TAKE ON MY NAME ONLY?

you register the house in your name. it will be good. Let your mother be co-applicant. If you want to register in both names, she has to come to registrar office for registration. to avoid such complications, you can register in your name.for more clarifications feel free to write to me.

the House can be registered in your name since for the bank it is sufficient if any one of the borrower to be the owner of the property. it need not be always joint owner to avail loan. in most of the case co-borrower is added to increase the eligibility for loan amount and for easy repayemnt of loan  installements.so you can proceed either single or joint registration at your pleasure.
