About property pledged in hdfc

Dear sir's As my friend pledge ed a property of college and campus for Rs 1.5lakhs.still now I am in deficit. Now bank has given notice from newspaper to action for a low cost of RS 9lakhs but property is of rs18 lakshmisha least the market value. Please assist me regarding this matter. Can I take stay for this actoning or how can I stop this action. Please assist me. Waiting. Please dear SIR'S assist.
